These established players have been selected to represent Team McGladrey because they capture the very same qualities we strive to achieve with all of our client engagements – integrity, excellence and passion.
Be sure to look for Team McGladrey as they march through upcoming PGA/LGPA tournaments and events.
Chris DiMarco, a native of Huntington New York, is listed among the top 20 Official World Golf Rankings. Since going pro in 1990, Chris has been able to distinguish himself among the best players in the world. Moreover, he holds the lowest 35-hole and 54-hole score for a Masters rookie! Chris was a member of the U.S. team in the 2003 and 2005 Presidents Cups and the 2004 and 2006 Ryder Cup.
When not on the green, Chris turns his integrity and energy towards helping make the world a better place. He hosts his own golf tournament in Heathrow, Florida – the Norma DiMarco Tee Up For Life Golf Tournament – in aid of R.O.C.K. (Reaching Out to Cancer Kids).
“As the official accounting, tax and business consulting firm of The PGA of America and the leading professional services provider to midsized businesses, Team McGladrey is a perfect fit for executives of up-and-coming companies.” – Chris DiMarco, PGA TOUR player, Team McGladrey-sponsored spokesperson.
Natalie Gulbis played in her first LPGA event as an amateur at the age of 14, and at the time was the youngest player ever to qualify. She turned pro by age 18 after playing for one season on the women's golf team at the University of Arizona. By the end of 2005 Natalie had risen to prominence, being named LPGA’s Most Improved Player by Golf Digest and finishing in the top 10 in all four LPGA Majors. Natalie has recorded seven top 10 finishes and ranks 17th in the World Golf Rankings for 2006!
In her spare time, Natalie appears on the Golf Channel with a hit reality TV show “The Natalie Gulbis Show.” Some of Natalie’s hobbies include going to sporting events, running, working out and cooking. She has also produced three calendars and pens a popular online diary on her personal website, www.nataliegulbis.com.
“The fact that Pinehurst is hosting the PGA McGladrey Team Championship’s pinnacle event is a reflection on the quality services Team McGladrey provides its clients and celebrates the spirit of this competition on a world-class stage.” – Natalie Gulbis, LPGA Tour player, Team McGladrey-sponsored spokesperson.
Zach Johnson, at just 30 years of age, has established himself as one of the game’s top young players. In 2003 he won the Jack Nicklaus award for Player of the Year when he broke virtually all the Nationwide Tour’s major records! He also won the BellSouth Classic, capturing his first PGA Tour win in just his 13th career start! Zach played on the U.S. team in the 2006 Ryder Cup. In 2007 Zach’s life changed overnight after winning the Masters in Augusta, Ga.
In conjunction with AEGON USA, Zach has developed a charitable program called “Birdies that Care” and have raised over $200,000 in just two years. This year’s recipient, Tanager Place, is an organization that successfully serves children and families challenged by social and psychological needs since 1879.
